About Me
Ultrasound - A Guide for Prospective Students on Becoming a Sonographer is available on Amazon!
Hi I'm Lexie!
I am a registered diagnostic medical sonographer (RDMS) and I am registered in abdomen (AB), obstetrics/gynecology (OB/GYN), breast (BR), and I am a registered vascular technologist (RVT).
I have been a sonographer for 4 years now and have worked every shift under the sun and moon at fast paced and busy facilities. It has given me the experience needed post graduation to feel competent in my career.
Because I had a wonderful experience when I was an intern, I want to now carry on that type of teaching and implement it into my ultrasound career. I love teaching sono students and I love talking to people who are interested in doing what I do. And that is how I got into writing a guide on how to become a sonographer.

I Have a Million
Hobbies...

I have too many hobbies and projects and not enough time to do them!
Some of the things that you will find me doing outside of ultrasound…
- Car shows – I love going to car shows, cruises, and meets. During the summer time, I spend almost everyday of the week at some sort of car event. There are even a couple of shows that I take PTO for!
- I work on my own vehicles – This is painful and time consuming however, also very rewarding when you finish a project. IYKYK.
- Writing – I love writing! Hence, how my ultrasound book was made. But I also dabble in fiction writing as well and am currently trying to finish my debut fiction novel, in hopes of turning it into a trilogy.
- Flipping Furniture – I enjoy flipping furniture in my spare time. I have done multiple projects that I have been able to turn around and sell for a profit, which has been amazing! But I won’t lie… I have also kept some of the furniture I have flipped because I liked it too much!
- The beach – I love spending time at the beach, it is my happy place.
